Faces of Education

Welcome to the first annual FACES web event. Our goal is to raise awareness of the importance of a strong math and science education and how our children are currently performing in these subjects. You can see for yourselves our performance here at the county, state, and national levels.

We Teach Science provides free after-school math and science mentors for San Francisco Bay Area middle school students to inspire our children to excel in math and science.

At the beginning of every school year, we create a massive, zoomable “wall of faces” by collecting and sharing images and comments of people who care passionately about STEM education (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) in the Bay Area. Join us!

This year, our goal is to collect 5,000 faces during the month of September.

How do you participate? To become a STEM Champion, all you have to do is submit your photograph, contact details, and a (voluntary) donation. The photos will be combined each night to create a massive collage of STEM Champions. Please show your support for the importance of Math and Science Education by making a donation and adding your picture to the wall.
